HELP LOADING KTEXT

osx 10.4.3

 

im a total n00b and im trying to fix my audio by updating my AppleAC97Audio.ktext

but when i try to it says " /System/Library/Extensions/AppleAC97Audio.ktext/Contents/PluIns/: No such file or directory" so i manualy changed it but when i try and load the ktext using "ktextload AppleAC97Audio.ktext" it gives me the same error.. No such file or directory..

 

Im totally lost..

 

Please help.

Drop you new .kext file ( driver ) in extensions

 

delete your .kextcache and .mkext

 

sudo chown -R root:wheel /system/library/extensions

 

sudo chmod -R 755 /system/library/extensions

 

then repair permissions.
