bpeugh Posted October 30, 2006 Share Posted October 30, 2006 Okay, I keep getting an error of an opaque overlay that comes up on my computer monitor that has the Power Button symbol and says "You need to restart your computer by holding down the Power Button". This happens after I leave the computer for awhile to just run Azaureus or anything else while I do something else. It happens in JaS 10.4.7 and 10.4.8 but not XP Home. It happens if I leave the monitor off or on. I have the energy settings set to never sleep the computer or monitor. I have tried the setting to put hard drive to sleep and not and it seems not to matter. I have had this happen as early as leaving the machine alone for 15 minutes and as late as over an hour. It does not seem to mind if the computer is overclocked or not. I have a Gigabyte GA-945P-S3 board, Intel E6400 2.13GHz processor and I am using an Asus EAX1600XT Silent V3 video card. Any ideas?
