vinceonep
Hello guys, New to Hackintoshes, I made one from a newly built pc four days ago, and I want it to work as good as it can. I broke my Hackintosh installation twice thrice, I have no problem understanding anything, clover is on the SSD, I'm here to follow instructions, and maybe break the installation again, no bother. Here's my pc: RX480 reference from MSI (8gb) (via hdmi) (67df rev 00c7 recognized as R9 xxx on sierra public 1) (do not bother checking this, it's not working for now) I5 6600k not overclocked, cooled by a Corsair H100i V2 (temps low) 2x8 CMU16GX4M2A2666C16 working perfectly with XMP 2.0 The installation is on a Corsair LE SSD 240Gb, and the USB installation disk is a sandisk extreme 32 gb (USB 3.0) Not all USB ports are working, that's kind of a lottery (didn't test the type-c one tho) The motherboard is a MSI Z170A Krait Gaming 3X, no problems so far I've made the installation by using a VM with El Capitan, then creating a USB drive for Sierra, then updated to Sierra Public beta 1 16B2333a (If there is any info that I must provide, ask me) I use FakeSMC, MausiEthernet, NullCPUManagment kextes, my config.plist is attached. I want to create my own tables (dsdt ssdt etc...) and make the smoothest Hackintosh I can do. I am not familiar with anything, but learning quickly, so you can throw you knowledge at me. Edit: Do you know a solution to keep the verbose log? I'm filming in slow-motion with my phone for the moment, that's a bit painful to decrypt... Thank you, Vincent Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/316155-need-advice-i5-6600k-sierra-16b2333a/ Share on other sites

Thank you, Vincent Patching your DSDT and SSDT tables is not a walk in the park... There aren't skylake patches yet. vinceonep
Sooner or later then. Have you got any idea why I'm getting this? OsxAptioFix2Drv: Starting overrides for System\Library\CoreServices\boot.efi Using reloc block: no, hibernate wake: noError allocating 0xXXX pages at 0xXXXXXXXXXXXXX alloc type 2Error loading kernel cache (0x9)Boot failed, sleeping for 10 seconds before exiting... It's at the very start of the boot, just after pressing enter on clover boot selection. It happens nearly everytime, with sometimes different numbers (all the Xes). When it doesn't happens, that shows a line of pluses, and when the line of pluses shows, there is a chance that fails, adding an other line, then freezing. Jagaroth
The memory on your hack is fragmented. Try replacing OsxAptioFix2Drv.efi with OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi. (In EFI Clover/Drivers64UEFI/ ) Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/316155-need-advice-i5-6600k-sierra-16b2333a/#findComment-2292213 Share on other sites
