hey guys

I am using a magic mouse and each time i reboot my mac the sensitivity slider in the system preferences is at 1, after i increase it, its fine. but then i reboot and its at 1 again.

Any ideas so to what could be causing this?

Cheers

Could be related to NVRAM.

Cheers any idea on how I can verify this / fix a fix? I can confirm it also does it after simply letting the system go to screensaver after some time, when resuming its defaulted to 1 sensitivity

1. Change the mouse settings to what you want them to be.

2. Open Terminal and type in:

nvram -p

3. Save the output in a Text Document.

4. Reboot the system.

5.  Open Terminal and type in:

nvram -p

6. Compare the output from before the reboot and look for mouse settings.

If it is missing you will need to install the UEFI driver in Clover to enable NVRam since your board has issue with it not working under Mac OS X.

I have done this and saved the 2 files pre and post boot. the mouse reset its self again after the reboot, however the terminal print out is identical....
