pstein
I installed successfully El Capitan in v12.1.1 VmWare Player on 64bit Win 7 Furthermore I installed vmsvga2 drivers from https://sourceforge.net/projects/vmsvga2/?source=typ_redirect Finally I installed VmWare Tools as shown in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ka2TJPknKVs Everything looks fine so far. But when I go to System-Preferenes-->Display--->Scaled only 1024x768 line is shown. Why? Yes, I restarted OS X a couple of times. I want to increase windowed VmWare OS X to 1440x900 What else can I do? Do I hvae to add/edit something manually in *.vmx file? When I switch to "full screen" (=1920x1080) through VmWare Player toolbar icon it works. So it must work in general. However I don't want full screen I want a bigger windowed OS X Thank you Peter Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/313948-cannot-increase-vmware-resolution-in-el-capitan/ Share on other sites
