Hey guys

I installed my OS on a 40gb SSD i had just to test.

Ive got it working perfectly now, but need more space for the long term.

Is there a way i can simply take all the data on this drive and clone it onto a new hard drive and have it work exactly the same? Or does it need to be worked from scratch?

Cheers for the insight, hoping to save myself a load of time!

Carbon copy cloner. You have to reinstall clover though

so you can clone the data but need to recreate your EFI partition? Can you just install clover as an empty install and then throw across all the same files?

Yes... You dont even have to install clover. Just copy the clover content from your old efi drive to the new efi drive

great so literally format the new drive guid+gpt, carbon copy over the OS with CCC, then mount the EFI and drag and drop the EFI from old drive to new, then boot it?
