Coolflare Posted July 1, 2016 Share Posted July 1, 2016 My computer specs: MSI MSI Gaming Z170A GAMING M5 LGA 1151 EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti Intel Core i7-6700K SAMSUNG 850 PRO 2.5" 256GB G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) Hello Everyone, I'm new to Hackintosh scene but I've been trying to figure out to get myself running. I've done the following changes on my motherboard: -Disabled VT-D. -Disabled CFG-Lock. -Enabled XHCI Handoff. -Set to UEFI instead of Legacy/UEFI. Options I didn't see in the MSI bios to disable were Secure Boot Mode, IO Serial Port or any means to disable USB 3.0. So these are not there. Is safe mode a bad means to install this? It was just a few I was trying in combination I found around the forums. Just hoping that the maxmem=4096 doesn't means I'm forced to 4 GB of RAM only. lol..
