Hi there!

I've finally managed to install OS X El Capitan onto my Skylake based desktop computer. To my surprise, pretty much everything got auto-detected nicely except audio. WiFi worked out of the box which is just weird.

Anyway! I'm having two issues right now. The first one being that I managed to get HDMI audio working, but my control gets greyed out. I can't adjust the volume or anything. This also sometimes happens with my USB headset, but my headset acts differently.

I have a Turtle Beach Z300 wireless USB headset. Currently it's KIND OF working how I would expect it to, but I had to plug it into my USB 3.1 port. For whatever reason, it always takes a minute for my headset to show up in my audio output sources regardless of which port I plug it into. While plugged into any other port, the headset doesn't work unless sound is actually playing for about a minute, and I can't adjust the volume control.

Plugged into my 3.1 port as of right now, it stays on regardless of sound playing, and I have volume control, BUT, adjusting the volume also screws with my headset's balance. If I have it at full volume, it only plays in one ear. If I have it slightly lower, it plays correctly. It's just bizarre.

The other thing is that, while it doesn't always show in the audio output sources, it does show up under System Information under the USB section regardless of what port I plug it into. I have no USB 2.0 ports so, my only thought is that this is one of those weird USB issues from having a Skylake build, but my keyboard and mouse work just fine so I'm confused. What gives? Anybody have any ideas?
