pjg61
My host system is Windows 10 running VMware 12.1.1. I am running El Capitan 10.11.4 as a VM with no problems (well mainly). I created four Shared Folders to the following paths on the host: C:\ C:\Users\enduser C:\Users\enduser\Downloads C:\Users\enduser\Temp They all work fine. But if I try to copy a file from OS X to any of the "default" Windows folders such as Downloads, Pictures, Documents, Desktop, these folders are Read-Only. Any subfolder is Read/Write. The "Temp" folder which is at the same level as Downloads is Read/Write. Only those "default" Windows folders are Read-Only. The Shared Folders are ALL defined as Read/Write (aka NOT Read-Only). On the host Windows side, the folders all have the same ACLs. I am using Bridged networking but this should have nothing to do with the Shared Folders. Any ideas ?
