Racer23
I installed back in March. Everything works great. However I want to reformat the Hard drive that OSX is on. My problem is that windows does not see the drive at all and deosn't recognize it to give it a drive letter. How can I see this drive so that I can reformat it? Thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/31213-refotmatting-after-install/ Share on other sites
tomkiwi
You have two options, both involving your system discs. option one: insert your windows xp disc and format the OSX partition from there, then remove the disc and restart your computer. option two: insert your macOSx dvd (jas?), open diskutil and format from there, then remove the disc and restart back into windows. Hopefully those will work, personally i'd go with the first option. good luck, let me know how it goes Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/31213-refotmatting-after-install/#findComment-216956 Share on other sites
Racer23
Thanks, I knew it was something so simple I would overlook it. I can see the drive in my device manager.
