Rammjet
If you are running Acronis on the WinXP partition as the bootloader, then the Windows partition has to be "active" in order for Acronis to be run. When you copied the Windows icon in Acronis, then you right-clicked on the icon and selected Properties. In there you gave the icon a new name and clicked which partition it should use with that icon. You also clicked the "active" box beside the partitions. By doing that, you are telling Acronis to make that partition "active" only when you double-click that icon. You can access your OSX partition by booting the install DVD and when it asks you to press Enter or F8, just press F8. Select your OSX partition and press Enter. If you really want to set your OSX partition "active", then here is one way using the OSX install DVD: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=22844 To boot back into Acronis/Windows, you will need to then set the Windows partition "active". Other things to check out for HFS+ partition error are: This thread: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=197333 Or this thread: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=210098 That thread refers to a utility that is supposed to be attached to that posting but isn't.
