ATI V5200's QE/CI failed after updated from 10.4.7 to 10.4.8

Hello everyone,

 

I couldn't get QE/CI working on Jas 10.4.6 after method 1 or method 2 is done. So I tried Jas 10.4.7 DVD without X1600 patch installed, and QE/CI just works fine following this method.

 

But,

 

if I update the 10.4.7 to 10.4.8 by "Jas 10.4.8 SSE3 Update" package, QE/CI is gone. It looks like, just looks like, the same situation with 10.4.6 installation I tried before which is a totoally black screen with a movable mouse only. It seems like the system (OS) is working, but no graphic output.

 

Is there anyone met the same problem?
