J Lamp
This sub-forum is looking a little slow, but hopefully I'll get an answer. I just recently pulled out two UAD PCI DSP cards and an older RME PCI audio interface. They only run in 32bit mode. So I built a rig on some older hardware and installed Lion 10.7.5, which I understand is the last version to support a 32bit kernel. Using Clover the machine runs great in 64bit mode, but when I use arch=i386 the machine appears to boot fine but I can't reach the desktop. I suspect it has something to do with FakSMC but I'm not sure. Any input would be appreciated. Edit: Just needed a FakeSMC compiled for 32 bit, solved.
