Tauhshi
Ok, like always, something isn't working here. I've heard that the 8139 is supported natively, but yet, I can't get it to work. Unless, that is, I am doing something wrong. I am booting using "-v -x" << only way it will load the driver for my HDD I a n00b at OS X, but I went through all the normal steps. I tried to set up a network connection, and, no luck. Can anyone give me a step-by-step walk through of setting this blasted thing up? Rammjet
Booting with -x puts you in safe mode. This is a partially disabled mode for troubleshooting problems. You won't get a full OS experience in safe mode. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=202373 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/31033-realtek-rtl8139-under-1047/#findComment-215260 Share on other sites
Tauhshi
Strangely, safe mode is the only way my HDD is detected . . . Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/31033-realtek-rtl8139-under-1047/#findComment-215271 Share on other sites
Tauhshi
Also, my Card is a PCI one, and System Profiler doesn't list it under the PCI section . . .
