I have a personal Mac running El Cap and VMware Fusion 8 Pro, and I created an El Cap VM on that system that was working well. I copied the VMDK from there onto another computer running Ubuntu 15.10 and Workstation 12 Player. I used Unlocker 2.0.8 to unlock all the OS X magic.

The VM boots properly on Ubuntu/Workstation 12 Player and after installing VMware Tools, it works very well, including most of iCloud's services. Unfortunately, I can't log into iMessage or FaceTime. From my limited understanding of OSx86, it seems like the Clover Bootloader may allow me to do that, but I'm not really sure where to start with installing it or if it's even possible to do so with VMware Workstation.

Also, since I have VMware Fusion 8, I didn't know if there was a better way for me to move the VM or make it work that way without messing with the bootloader.

Any advice from you guys or a point in the right direction would be appreciated.
