boot issues after installation ...

Ok, this is the third forum where I trying to asking for help for my problem, hope you'll be able to help me. So, after installation (10.9.0), when I tried to reboot the system, I got a black screen with an "_" flashing in the left corner on the top, the only way to boot again in the system is, to put again the usb isntaller in the laptop and select the Hard Disk. But I've noticed a thing, everytime that I reboot the system, and I go in the BIOS setting, the ACHI mode is changed from "manual" to "auto", and also the boot option are changed, so I have to set them again. What do u say? 

 

my laptop specs are:

model: samsung r580

CPU: i3 330m

GPU: geforce 330m

i say poo, did you get the bios sorted. Mavericks has real issues seeing anything ide, apparently. I have no idea on your bios in particular. Be certain you are saving changes when exiting. (and I have no idea if you know that or not, so don't be offended)

Hi, are you using Clover? If so, you probably installed it for 'UEFI Booting Only'. Try deleting Clover from your EFI Partition and reinstalling it making sure that UEFI Booting is UNCHECKED! If you are using Chameleon (I very much doubt you would have this problem) then you should try reinstalling Chameleon or making sure that your hard drive is not 4K. In that case, you would have to go to this webpage to fix it.
