Hello,

I'm looking for help.

I installed jas 10.4.7 on vmware 5.5.1

The installation process seems to be ok but, since the first restart, the os is not able to boot.

My processor is a Pentium4 2,8GHz socket 478.

Using cpu-z I checked that it supports both SSE2 and SSE3.

Could someone kindly help me, please?

Thank you

Giovanni

Hello,

I solved the problem!

During installation, I forgot to select custom install and so I didn't install the "patch" for my cpu.

Now the os boots correctly, but I can only see the mouse pointer on a blue desktop and nothing else...

Bye

Giovanni
