Mikey7047
I am looking to buy an integrated (Mini PCI) wireless card for my laptop which will run native in Linux, OSX and Windows. I am not too worried about the Windows part because I am sure that it will work with Windows. But, I am just wondering if anyone knows of a card that will definitely work in natively in Linux and without too much work in OSX. I am decent with shell, but have never compiled anything (I am definitely willing to try.) Let me know your input please. djwonderstick
i got a dell truemobile 1350 minipci wireless card for 18 bucks on ebay and it works great on xp, osx, and linux (i use ubuntu). for it to work on osx though u need to follow the instructions in this: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=1263 or this, which is a simplified version of the other one: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?sh...55&hl=dell+d600 no guarantees that itl work for u, but it seems to work for the majority Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/3098-need-a-new-integrated-wireless/#findComment-19709 Share on other sites
