all applications quit unexpectly

Hi

 

I have installed the Jas OSX 10.4.6 on my new machine without any problems and I think that I have done everithing right because it is not the first time.

But on this new PC all applications quit unexpectly after some minutes.

I have done a second installation and have the same problems.

 

Now I think it could be a hardware failure (maybe the Ram??).

 

I hope somebody can help me.

Ram: 512 mb DDR2-800

Processor: Pentium D 915

HD: Samsung HD160JJ

put cpus=1 in the kernel flags into the /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist file

 

(i've the same mobo and D 905 intel, now works great)
