Nitroflames
I have installed OSx86 sucessfully on one computer, then i tried to install it to a new computer with a 3500 venice, ASUS SLI premium and a 7800 GT. I used the same image as last time, the flat.img file. Unfortunately, now, when i boot, i get the gray apple screen, but about 15 seconds into loading i get a white box with a circle with a line through it. I followed the quick and easy native installation hosted here. Help would be much abliged Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/3086-white-screen-with-crossed-circle/ Share on other sites

macgirl
So your HD is in SATA? only PATA is supported wirh nForce chipsets, only Intel and some VIA chipsets are supported. Or if you have set your hard drive in RAID mode they aren't supported also. macgirl
In a short word... NO Even the extensions are up to nForce 3, it could be recompiled with some DeviceIDs for nForce 4. SATA works with Intel, and even there are some restrictions.
