I use vmware to install because DVD boot intstall mode cannot work in this notebook. (/com.apple.Boot.plist not found) vmware install mode is smooth but until restart, it cannot boot into osx, it like to boot form my CD than say /com.apple.Boot.plist not found. I also copy chain0 to drive C: and edit boot.ini, restart i get "chain booting error" ........ Thank you for your help. Myster_EE
Hey, I'm wondering what to do, as I'm having the same trouble. I'm using 10.4.4, installed on VMware. Installation worked, (with some playing around with the CD-rom settings) and now it just hangs with a white cursor at bootup...... Myster_EE
I would have done the -v -vmware stuff, but I don't know how to without getting to the bootloader, and I don't think it even gets that far.....
