macxylo
Hey, i have a old mac pro 1.1 - i know, it's possible to fake the mac identifier with chameleon. but: where did apple store the mac model identifier? nvram -p shows only platform-uuid. is it generated from the platform-uuid? Or is it stored in the firmware? Kind Regards Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/308376-mac-identifier-where-physically-stored/ Share on other sites
TheEmoEmu
I would use Clover - it is a lot better with this sort of thing. To fake it in Chameleon you'll need to mess with the com.Apple.Boot.plist . Are you trying to install El Capitan with a faked SMBIOS?
