MeuPRodrigo
Hi guys, So for the story, I have a functional Yosemite Hackintosh (10.10.5) which is on a independent SSD and is booted by chameleon/chimera. I wanted to try the new OS X El Capitan, and got mine from the AppStore.I am now trying to install El Capitan on a different HDD (I will only use El Capitan when everything is working). My problem is this one : I created the USB drive with El Capitan on it I installed clover on it with recommended settings for UEFI motherboard I put FakeSMC.kext in EFI/kexts/10.11 And I try to boot it After passing by clover (and using verbose mode) I get these lines until Still waiting for root device appears. Does someone know why ? PS : I am new with clover as I used chameleon until now. Morpheus NS
When you reach the point where it says "Still waiting for root device" move your USB to another port and wait for a few seconds. Try all of them it should work on one. That's how I solved the problem a few times I experienced it. The other way is GenericUSBXHCI.kext or Niresh's TotalllyFixStillWaiting.kext (something like that).
