lordken1
I'm a new poster here.... I've installed Snow Leopard on my hp530, and it'll boot and run fine as long as I have the DVD in the drive. It requires the dvd to see the hard drive, I can select either dvd or hdd at boot and all is fine. However, I want to boot from the hdd only, I installed the system as follows. ----Deselect AsereBLN v1.1.9----AnVal Loader Bootloader Options----USB--------USBBusFixPatches----RTC--------Deselect RTC--------RTC (32bit)----USBDrivers----Main Hardware--------SATA/IDE------------AHCI SATA----Sound--------Voodoo HDA--------Deselect Apple HDA 10.6.2----PS/2--------Apple PS/2----Laptop Hardware--------Battery----VGA--------Intel------------EFI String------------Natit (32bit)------------GMA 950----------------GMA 950 27A2 (32bit) -- install this one----------------GMA 950 27AE (32bit) -- and this one too. It didn't work without both.----Network--------Wireless------------Broadcom--------Wired------------Intel----------------Intel Pro V100 Credit goes to an old post on this forum. However if I go to Chameleon Installer in Tools and try to install that way, it says permission denied. I'm lost, Help!!
