renegadeandy Posted October 19, 2006 Share Posted October 19, 2006 Hmm ok - I have 10.4.4 installed. Last night i messed up - installed the 10.4.8 update for intel only. It didnt boot. I then put my install dvd back in i used originally and installed the amd kernel again. This works - but the installation is now slow etc. I want to update my mac osx version now - but i am on 10.4.4 i reckon but i cannot chekc as it crashes my system when i try now - presumably from the mistake i made. So , i am now downloading the correct 10.4.8 update for ss2 amd, but i dont think i can install that on top of 10.4.4 , or can you - if not, what path of updates should i follow.
