I have been trying and trying to create a new stick to do a reinstall with VMWare, but for some reason VMWare wasn't recognizing my stick like it had done a few months ago. I had been trying everything to get it to work. Nothing had changed in terrms of hardware so I was clueless and frustrated. I just had a eureka moment and realized what was different. When I created my original stick I was using 8.1. Then I updated to Windows 10 in the interim period. I had read somewhere where Win 10 could cause issues with USB stick recognition. Has anyone been able to figure out a workaround?
