P5w dh deluxe SATA/trippleboot question

After reading around this forum and long time ago getting osx to work on my athlon64 without succes i am back, with more time on my hands ;-) now this athlon setup is becomming a mediacanter :-) so now im starting to work

 

After looking around this setup seems like a fair bet:

 

Asus P5w dh deluxe

 

Core2Duo dont know what model yet since this is a minor problem

 

1Gb (maybe 2) ram brand not decided yet

 

X1600 pro at least until some DX10 cards get out and they are supported :-D

 

 

Now i want to use SATA disks, and as far as i understand other people do this to, so the setup would be like this:

 

sata1: XP

sata2: vista RC2

sata3: (here i will buy a new big one and split it) osx and a partition for shared documents, music and much more.

 

So to the question, else this would be a waste :-)

 

I guess i will be using the JAS 1.4.7 and 1.4.8 for this, but will this work without any pata disks? only my dvd burner is pata and here i allso is considering a SATA drive, but that isnt decided yet.

 

anyone got a similar setup? that they can say is working or not?
