jflora80 Posted May 21, 2015 Share Posted May 21, 2015 Good evening everyone! Just wanted to say thanks for all you guys do. I have a Dell 560 desktop that I would like to run both windows and osx. I will continue to run windows on my SSD drive and use my 500 GB other drive for Mac OSX. I have done some searching and have not had any luck on determining if I can run Yosimite on mymachine. Here are my specs and info. Thanks in advance! Dell Inspiron 560 (late 2009) Intel Pentium E5700 dual core @ 3.00 gHZ Mainboard Dell (Model 018D1Y) 4 GB DDR3 Ram NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 2GB Ram What do you guys think? Also, GT730 should work great on Yosemite. I've run Yosemite with great results on my Optiplex 755 (E4400, 5gb RAM, GT220). Let us know how it works for you (i'll follow this topic). I could only boot it in Legacy HDD mode, so i deleted it, since i need ML 10.8.5 (bios set to AHCI) for music.
