I have an Asus Z77 motherboard, and use Intel's SRT SSD caching on my Windows boot drive. This feature requires that the BIOS be in RAID mode. A few months ago, I found a hack that would allow OS X to boot with the BIOS in RAID mode. I shared it in this post:

Essentially, it involved injecting the PCI device and vendor ID of the controller in RAID mode (yes, it's different in AHCI mode) into AppleAHCIPort.kext. However, since the 10.10.3 update this hack has stopped working. I confirmed that 10.10.2 works with the hack just fine by booting into a clone I made of Yosemite just before updating. Does anyone know what changed or how to make my hack work again?
