cnt2k7 Posted May 4, 2015 Share Posted May 4, 2015 good morning people just a good day to provide a update and a puzzle for a project i was doing here is the spec core 2 duo p8700 (2.5ghz) nvidia 9800m gts 512mb 2 hard drives (500 and 160gb) boardcom wifi (insted of the intel 5100 for osx) i decided to hack my old laptop its a gateway fx7805u with 10.10 i have had quite a bit of good devlopment on it got graphics working 2 hard drives (500gb for osx and 160gb spare) sound working (voodoohda yey) i changed the wifi card from the intell 5100 to a boardcom one witch works (g insted of n but thats ok) only probleam i am haveing is i would love the battery stats to work (so i can see how much power is in my battery) i managed to get it to work once then i reinstalled osx (to make some driver optimisions) and couldnt get it back if anyone has tryed 10.10 on this laptop let me know or even 10.9 (i tryed one or 2 drivers and they seem to work) id love to get the cam working as well but thats not something on top of my list of things to do as well as imessage and facetime but i anit in a rush Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/306013-gateway-fx-7805u/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
