First off I have searched and read many articles on how to fix dual boot problems but my understanding is still to basic to really problem solve this. Any help would be apreciated.

Ok so I had a single hard drive with three partitions. winxp,osx,fat32. I decided to put in another drive so I could set up soft raid on my os x. I ghosted my osx and winxp partitions. I put xp on the first partition of one drive and osx on the first partition of the second drive. So far so good. Now here comes the problem. I couldn't get either partition to boot so I loaded my winxp cd and fixmbr and fixboot 'ed. So now when I try to load win xp via my xfdisk boot loader I can load fine. When I try to load my os x disk I get varying errors depending on what I've done to try to fix it. Sometimes I get no ntldr. sometimes I get a flashing dash. No matter what I do I can't seem to get the os x disk to load now. I used to be able to at least put in the osx dvd and pull it out to get into the os. Now that doesn't even work.

I still have the images and would be willing to format and reinstall them however I think it should be an easy fix for somebody who understands how these os's boot.

Heres hoping for some help ...

And thanks in advance.

Oh and acronis sees my os x partition as fat 16 and I can't get it to change the filesystem to 0xAF.
