Hello. I'm new on this forum as a user, but i read almomst every tutorial as a guest. Now I'm stuck in post install. Successfully installed Yosemite 10.10.x on my Asus vivobook s200e and the OS works properly except for Audio kext ( I dunno what's the audio chipset, maybe Intel HDA but cannot find kext that works in #####) and WiFi adapter (almost impossible).

The only messy thing that poped up after the installation is that I don't know how to boot the OS system on my notebook without the USB plugged in. I can't keep this USB around with me when I want to use my laptop. I am not such an expert so following the post install guides was not so easy for me.

I used transMac on a Windows 8.1 PC to prepare my USB installation with Yosemite Zone.

Tell my how to do step-by-step to make the bootleader work. I think the installation was made with chameleon because when I turn pc on with USB in, it says "chameleon bootloader".

I used disk utility to make 2 partitions (1 for windows in exFAT, 2 for Yosemite in HFS+).

Thank you for the help!!!

Hello and Welcome!

If you want to install OSX on your hardware you can follow thes guides: http://www.insanelym...mite/?p=1835023 or http://www.insanelym...tosh/?p=2019429 and try use this tool: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/category/9-pandora/

Your wifi card is not supported under OSX; must be exchanged with a compatible one.

For getting the sound up, you have to get the Chip ID in Windows device manager (probably ALC269, but not sure) and then to look for a pachted kext for your device or for an other Asus one.

If your device is legacy booting, get one of the here supported Chameleon bootloader versions from Download, boot with your stick and install it on your hd.

If you are UEFI booting, you need for booting from hd Clover also to get here in Downloads.

Have fun.

By the way TM tools are not supported here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/ http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/275941-very-important-please-read-about-tonymacx86-and-iatkos-m/

If you need support for them, please hand over to where you have got them from.
