Jithin Chandran
Have you copied FakeSMC.kext to your CLOVER USB?? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/304612-stuck-on-root-device-uuid-is/#findComment-2114016 Share on other sites
ANONIMNIQ
Have you copied FakeSMC.kext to your CLOVER USB?? Yes, it's in 10.10 folder and in Other folder too. Every time I create installation USB with Chameleon, my PC just won't detect it. In BIOS settings legacy boot is enabled and secure boot is disabled. If I install Clover on USB or HDD, then it is detected as UEFI but every Mac version I'm trying to install - from Lion to Yosemite just stuck at the screen with apple logo without loader bar. If I boot in -v mode, then I see that Clover stuck at root device uuid is If I boot without kexts and caches then it goes to Loading drivers and after few rows with "-" and few "+" in the end - It just stuck. The only OS X version that I have installed with success is Snow Leopard, but It's won't detect my ethernet and gpu. My ethernet controller is Realtek pcie gbe family, so I'm trying to install Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller 1.0, but it's not supported on Snow Leopard. Also while creating the CLOVER USB which options you had selected?? Welll ... i'm not sure which kexts are required, so I put only FakeSMC. If I create Clover USB from MAC OS X virtual machine, I choose this settings: Install from UEFI motherboards, Drivers64UEFI - EmuVariableUefi-64,OsxAptioFixDrv-64, Install RC scripts on target volume, Install Clover Preference Pan. After that I put FakeSMC.kext. I also try to install Clover from Windows with BootDiskUtility or with USB installers with Transmac/Win32Diskimager but the result is the same.
