tyns
Having an odd issue on both chimera and clover bootloaders. Have tried fresh installs of both. Everything works great under 10.10. Sleep, graphics, sound.. everything.. fully useable under a Macpro 3,1 profile. Completely fresh install with no extra software installed. When I update to 10.10.2 things continue to work great, but after waking from sleep, if I do a screen zoom (control+ scroll wheel) (after enabling it in accessibility), the system instantly kernel panics. Not sure if anyone else can test this on a similar spec system? or if anyone might have a solution? r_zusman
I have the same MoBo, and a very similar problem. I don't get a KP, but rather an instant freeze when I try do do a screen zoom after sleep. I have a different video card than you - an ATI 6870 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/304336-kernel-panic-10102-when-screen-zooming-after-sleep/#findComment-2110182 Share on other sites
tyns
I updated to the 10.10.3 beta and the problem is not longer there anymore. It must be unique to 10.10.2. Oh well. Thanks for the test and feedback! Mine froze too, but when you rebooted it gave a kernel panic error.
