Winthryth
Here are the specs of my machine -AMDFX 8370 CPU -Asus M5A99FX Mobo -XFX R7-265A-CNJ4 GPU I am trying to install Yosemite on my AMD computer. However the usb installer keeps failing and then shortly restarts the computer. I have created the usb installer using both Clover and Chameleon, but neither one will work. I have also tested the usb on a real Mac computer, and it makes it to the install screen so the problem is with my machine. I have also tried GraphicsEnabler=No and npci=0x3000 as boot flags. From my research the problem fit the description of the Hasewell CPU problem from this post. The proposed fix however didn't fix my problem. I have also found a similar problem that was fixed by changing the bios setting of No Execute Memory Protect, however I can't seem to find that option in my EUFI BIOS and it is the newest version available. I am aware this function can be called NX on AMD mobos. The final solution I have found to this problem is a patch to my mobo using the UEFITool, however I would prefer to not mess with this until I know this is my problem and at the moment don’t fully understand how to use UEFITool to fix my problem. Can anybody provide me with any information on my problem or what could be a possible other fix for me?
