FormatOSX Posted December 14, 2014 Share Posted December 14, 2014 I am posting a reply to the tread VoodooHDA Common Problems as I don't want to clutter up that thread Anyway I posted a thread but I found out what the problem is under Kernel Panic (Although I don't get one) Solution 2 (Edit the Info.plist) but where is that file? and if there is more then one which is the exact one to edit? MacUser2525:~$ ls -l /System/Library/Extensions/VoodooHDA.kext/Contents/Info.plist -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 2.8K 18 Jul 08:48 /System/Library/Extensions/VoodooHDA.kext/Contents/Info.plist It needs to be edited as root and the kernel cache rebuilt for any changes made in it to have an effect.
