amiloboy
With JaS 10.4.6.install.dvd.iso when I look in the rar file I only see 8 files totalling 128,130 bytes. The same with MacOSX_10.4.6_GoatsecxDVD file? Yet the rar files at 4.3 Gb and 3.3 Gb respectively. Any ideas? Thanks amilo Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/30269-what-files-should-be-in-jas-1046-install-dvd/ Share on other sites
The Baron
That's because you're viewing them on a windows machine. Use WinRAR to extract the .iso, then burn this at the lowest speed to a DVD. Get MagicISO and explore this DVD and you will see that all the files are there. Then all you have to do is install it... Andy. Rammjet
Windows can only see the boot files on the dos-formatted boot sector of the DVD. The rest of the files are on the Mac HFS+ formatted part of the DVD which Windows cannot read.
