rfrayer Posted November 13, 2014 Share Posted November 13, 2014 I have an HP P6-2100 with an AMD Dual core a4-3420 CPU. I disabled UEFI in the bios and enabled hardware emulation, sat system storage to ahci. I would asume that this would use the amd64 kernal or hp kernal (Ive tried both) in niresh. on the hp kernel it freezes during boot and on the amd64 kernel it reboots after saying "uptime in nanoseconds". Im trying to boot Mountain Lion. Anyone have any tips? Should I try Maveriks instead.
