beepyou
I have: Asrock Conroe 945G-DVI CPU: E6300 2*1GB Dual Channel OCZ Ram. 1 SATAII 320G Segate Hard drive 1 IDE 320G Western Digital Hard drive. I tried the triple boot here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=29745 and varies dual-boot methods, they all don't work. Pretty much, I don't think it's a problem with my booting method, rather the problem exists somewhere else, the reason i say that is because I don't have a problem choosing Mac OS X to boot, I get the screen, i can type -v -x when booting, but after I type that a huge list of text starts to scroll down the screen (loading some stuff, but too fast for me to read), thus, I took a video, and the last screen I see are these: Loading HFS+file: I/System/Library/Extension/system.kext/Plugins/System5.0 ...etc after loading a bunch of these, there's 2 which says something about unsupported device: Loading HFS+ file: I/System/Library/Extension/system.kext/Plugins/Unsupported.kext/Unsupported from 4238240 (i can't see the # that clearly) then the line shows up again: Loading HFS+ file: I/System/Library/Extension/system.kext/Plugins/Unsupported.kext/Unsupported from 4238240 then it says: Starting Darwin/x86 then my screen turns blank, few seconds later, the system will reboot. someone had this happen to them before? thank you. Rammjet
What packages did you choose in the Customize window during installation? Get OSX working before you mess around with double/triple booting. After OSX works, you can concentrate on getting the bootloader going. You must choose packages carefully. During the installation, when you get to the window where you are to click the Install button, you must first click the Customize button and choose packages for your computer. Click the little arrow next to the patches category to reveal the individual packages. Select Intel or AMD packages, not both. Select SSE2 or SSE3, not both, depending upon the capability of your processor. Select the Combo Update to get the latest version of OSX. Select other packages only if you know your computer can use them. 10.4.6: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...ost&id=4249 10.4.7: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...ost&id=4499 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/30257-os-x-1046-wont-boot-up/#findComment-209735 Share on other sites

I only see 4 options: 1) printer drivers 2) X11 3) languages 4) those cracks, and I only get to choose SSE3. i'll download a the JAS version thank you Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/30257-os-x-1046-wont-boot-up/#findComment-209819 Share on other sites
