tab Posted October 14, 2006 Share Posted October 14, 2006 I need help getting my sound to work. Onboard Realtek ALC850 sound card. Asus K8N mobo I have read tons and tons of posts about how to install these drivers. Tried both AppleAC97.kext and Azalia sound is still grayed out and will not work. tab Posted October 15, 2006 Author Share Posted October 15, 2006 Sorry to hear. As far as i know the ALC650 doesn't work. You may need to try and find a different sound card. Check the hardware incompatibiltiy list.
