Simson Posted October 14, 2006 Share Posted October 14, 2006 Hallo out there.. I have a strange problem. Have tried to install Mac OS x 10.4.5/6 on my computer, but it will not boot up. The only thing that happens is I see all the files is being loaded and then it is black screen and the computer is restarting. Over and over again.... Spec: Asus p5gv-mx Celeron D 2.8 I only have install Mac Os x on the harddrive and no other partion. I am sure it is active. Hope you can help me. Also, when OSX is the only OS on the hard drive, preparation of the hard drive is important. I also Installed ATI Radeon x1650pro and Rhine Fast Ethernet II drivers. Is there anything like a system restore or something similar to that? Did you ever find a solution to this problem? because the same thing happens to me, it boots then black screen then restart.
