richer2003
Hi, I recently installed Mavericks on my Asus R500VD laptop and I'm having a problem with a feedback loop at start up. I've installed VoodooHDA and got sound to work but the problem I'm having is iGain. I've added the Voodoo-HDA Settings Loader to Login Items, and I've edited Info.plist in /System/Library/Extensions/VoodooHDA.kext/Contents/ and added <key>iGain</key> <integer>0</integer> During startup (grey apple logo) the feedback loop starts and goes until I login. Before I edited Info.plist, the feedback loop would go until I manually turn the volume all the way down, or go into System Preferences > VoodooHDA and turn down the Input Gain. Is there a way to disable iGain before login? Attached is a copy of my Info.plist in .txt format Any help would be awesome, thank you! -Richard Info.txt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/301639-feedback-loop-on-startup/ Share on other sites
