javiliyors
Hi everyone, I comment my problem and see if you can lend a hand to me and clarify my doubts. I have a computer with an Asus P5Q motherboard with an Intel Q9500 and 8Gb DDR2 800Mhz and MSI VGA "Hawk" 5770 1GB DDR5. Well I managed to install 10.9.5 as Yosemite Mavericks both 10.10 and my problem / question is this. According I have looked in all the forums do not need DSDT for my motherboard is not whether it is advisable or for serving exactly the way you install Mavericks went with MyHack and Yosemite with Chameleon using FakeSMC brings already incorporated and a pack of kexts I found on another forum that I put below: AHCI_3rdParty_SATA.kext AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext ApplePS2Controller.kext ApplePS2Keyboard.kext ApplePS2Mouse.kext ApplePS2Trackpad.kext AppleVIAATA.kext IONetworkingFamily.kext IOUSBFamily.kext lspcidrv.kext EvOreboot.kext AtherosL1Ethernet.kext - Network Card my org.chameleon.Boot.plist <key> aticonfig </ key> <string> Eulemur </ string> <key> AtiPorts </ key> <string> 3 </ string> <key> EthernetBuiltIn </ key> <string> Yes </ string> <key> GenerateCStates </ key> <string> Yes </ string> <key> GeneratePStates </ key> <string> Yes </ string> <key> Graphics Mode </ key> <string> 1920x1080x32 </ string> <key> GraphicsEnabler </ key> <string> Yes </ string> <key> Kernel </ key> <string> mach_kernel </ string> <key> SMBIOS </ key> <string> /Extra/SMBios.plist </ string> <key> Timeout </ key> <string> 2 </ string> <key> UseKernelCache </ key> <string> Yes </ string> My smbios.plist (MacPro 3,1) <key> SMbiosdate </ key> <string> 02/29/08 </ string> <key> SMbiosvendor </ key> <string> Apple Computer, Inc. </ string> <key> SMbiosversion </ key> <string> MP31.88Z.006C.B05.0802291410 </ string> <key> SMboardproduct </ key> <string> Mac-F42C88C8 </ string> <key> SMfamily </ key> <string> Mac Pro </ string> <key> SMmanufacturer </ key> <string> Apple Computer, Inc. </ string> <key> SMproductname </ key> <string> MacPro3,1 </ string> <key> SMserial </ key> <string> CK91595HXYL </ string> <key> SMsystemversion </ key> <string> 1.0 </ string> So far everything works perfectly even Marvell 88SE6111 controller patching BIOS, everything except the sound board and the ATI HDMI that I have not patched yet and that is where my problem is. The sound chip of my motherboard is the ALC1200, I read in some places that is compatible with the ALC888 and others with ADI2000, neither brings in ##### ALC1200 driver. Then looking across several AppleHDA.kext patched kexts already come and do work, and my sound card detected. What I do is delete the original AppleHDA.kext with Kext Utility and install this, restart and have sound. But I have no sound in any way for the HDMI from my graphics card that my biggest problem is there because I want to use the HDMI to use equipment HTPC. Looking at this forum I've seen to do various moves with the rom of the graphics card, AMD kext edit, extract SSDT and DSDT, patched with hdmi_toleda, HDAU and not inject more things that I do not have much idea. I need some help to get sound through the HDMI and what steps have to give, as well as extract the DSDT that is not how it is done or for which is, as for any other little thing. If you need to upload any file or record of something you ask Me and I'll upload. Please help I hope, I thank you! A greeting.
toleda
no sound in any way for the HDMI from my graphics card For HDMI audio on your motherboard, dsdt edits are required. Use dsdt/ssdt HDMI audio/4. 5series in Post #1, Yosemite AppleHDA HDMI Audio

Try 888 Legacy, Yosemite: Audio - Realtek ALC AppleHDA or install your working ALC1200 AppleHDA.kext, edit dsdt/HDEF/layout-id for ALC1200, if necessary. unknown cpu, off topic.
