LaGuNa
Hi, guys! Finally I installed a brand new Tiger 10.4.7 version in place of my 10.4.1, a little bit instable... :-) 10.4.1 ran on my system, but this 10.4.7 not!!! After a great installation I reboot my PC and I can see only grey stripes for a few seconds and then... black screen! I can only reboot again my PC and choose WinXp as my OS... I've a JaS DVD Installer. Intel Centrino Core Duo is my processor (SS2 and SS3 supported) and Ati X1600 Mobility is my video card. During the installation process I choose these patchs: - Jas 10.4.7 [...] Combo Update - SSE3 patch - X1600, X1800 [...] patch. Could be this the problem of my problem??!? - NOT SS2 patch. Is it wrong??!? Any ideas to solve my problem? Re-installing Mac OS X without JaS patchs??!? Help!!! Thanks in advance. P.S. My English couldn't be correct... Sorry man, I'm Italian... Rammjet
The x1600 patch will not work with x1600 Mobility. The other 2 patches are fine.
LaGuNa
Ah, Ok! Thanks!!! Now I can only re-install again OS X with the right patchs or I can modify the existing installation? Where could I find drivers for my x1600 Mobility? (If these exist...)
Rammjet
You must reinstall with the right patch and there is no driver for x1600 Mobility.
