Iryon
Hello, i'm trying to set a dualboot for Windows 7 and Mavericks 10.9.4 for my build: CPU Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0ghz CPU Cooler Zalman CNPS7000C Motherboard Asus P5KC RAM 2x2 OCZ Platinum DDR2 800mhz GPU Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 (OC with Arctic Accelero S1 Plus cooler + 2000 rpm Scythe fan GPU Cooler Arctic Accelero S1 Plus + Scythe fan 2000 rpm SSD Crucial MX100 256GB HDD Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB 7200rpm 32MB PSU LC-Power Titan 560W Case Thermaltake Swing w/ window MONITOR Samsung T23C350EW 1920x1080 / Acer X193W 1440:900 I initialized SSD in GPT, then create a NTFS partition for Windows and left the rest unallocated for Mavericks. I already installed Windows in his partition (set in AHCI mode with TRIM Active) and all goes fine. Now i'm stuck installing Mavericks cause it can't recognize my SSD neither my HDD. What did i miss? Hazard.
You must install the SSD Kext patcher, find it in Kext Utility. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/300866-maverick-dont-recognize-my-ssd/#findComment-2060764 Share on other sites
Iryon
Thanks for the answer. I solved the problem thanks to a moderator. The matter was that i was not in AHCI Mode, just my JMicron Sata connector which is not recognized. I flashed a modded bios for my mobo which allowed me to set AHCI Mode all Sata ports and finally i'm on Mavericks!
