I have this system:

Dell XPS L321x

I followed this process:

http://myhack.sojugarden.com/guide/

I was able to install Mavericks to it by booting the installer with -x in safe mode.

I told myHack to remove AppleGraphicsControl, AppleTyMCEDriver, AppleUpstreamUserClient.

I added a smbios.plist for MacBookPro8,1 via chameleon wizard to the Extra/ folder on the USB and the HDD.

I now have two problems:

  1. The HDD is GPT and if I try to boot from it I get "Operating Sytem Not Found"
  2. If I boot from USB and choose the HDD to boot with any parameters besides -x the boot doesn't complete.

Here is an image of booting with -v -f:

I'm not as concerned about problem 1, I can convert the HDD to MBR later, let's get it so I can boot not in safe mode.

I've attached the DSDT and SDST's I extracted while booted up on a ubuntu live usb. (zipped up in acpi.zip)

acpi.zip

dart=0 Allows me to boot!  Now on to other problems.

For Later Reference:

Disables the VT-d virtualization technology built into certain Intel processors. For Hackintoshes, VT-d is pretty useless; virtually no Mac OS X applications use it (virtualization apps like Virtualbox tend to use the alternative VT-x technology instead), and certain Hackintosh motherboards have been known to crash in Mac OS X when VT-d is enabled.
