Perry44
Okay, so I havent used XP in a bout a year, and just got it dual booted and need some help connecting to my wireless internet. I am running Windows XP Pro. Can anyone provide instructions? Thanks. I am trying to connect to my wireless internet which is ran off a Netgear router, if that matters. Thanks alot in advance. - Perry Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/30065-connecting-to-wireless-internet/ Share on other sites
asap18
First you need to find the drivers for your wireless adapter if they havent been installed already. Then you should see a little computer with curved bars in the bottom right. Double Click that and it will scan for your wireless network. Then push connect when you find ur ssid that was set in ur router. If it uses a wep key you need to enter that when it asks you and then you are set. asap18
is it a netgear adapter too, if it is use http://kbserver.netgear.com/downloads_support.asp after finding your model number on the adapter itself you can download the firmware listed on the product page. Just wondering, this computer isnt your imac right? asap18
you should have drivers for your imac that you were asked to burn when you started boot camp. Just install those and you will get the wireless icon in the bottom right. Double click that and connect to your network.
