benehack Posted September 1, 2014 Share Posted September 1, 2014 Hi, I just wanted to share my current efforts regarding the state of installation: Working: - WIN8.1 on the preinstalled SSHD (500GBytes) - Installed Plextor 128GByte M6e SSD 2242 (short one) in the M2 slot of the Mainboard - Installed Mavericks via Clover onto the Plextor - Touchpad running (via RehabMan´s VoodoPS2Controller) - Cable Ethernet Working (used the Realtek 8100 kext) - WLAN via Belkin USB N150 Adapter (just install the OSX driver for it), it´s so small you can leave it in the USB slot - HD 4400 WORKING FULLY ACCELERATED (this was hell to find out..) My solution: in config.plist under FakeID set "IntelGFX" to "0x0", under Graphics set "ig-platform-id" to "0x0A260005" (IMPORTANT: use the 0x in front of it, this alone took me days...) - Airplay: I checked with the "Reflector App" on a distant MacBook Pro and yes, you can send Video from your Hackintosh to it or a AppleTV, using the above Belkin WLAN Adapter. - Cardreader OOB - HDMI output (tested with 1080p 60Hz with IPS237) Working but not perfect: - Touchscreen: No multitouch gestures, but feels very good for drag/drop, double-clicking, pointing (just install the eGalax drivers for OSX) - Airplay ( I installed Soundflower as virtual Audio Driver, after that I had Airplay in the sound control panel as a selection, which works perfect), but no other audio hardware output/input Not working so far: - Facetime: I think this is easily solved via the SMBIOS mods (just found the thread...) - Hardware Audio Output (no idea how to keep Airplay and hardware audio outputs together, I assume it´s a ALC283) - Sleep/Wake (no idea) - Brightness is not maximum (had no time to investigate until now...) - Changing the boot order in BIOS to have the SSD boot first, hangs on startup in ".....Bluetooth....beefed..." (mmmhh...) EDIT1: After repairing volume and disk permissions boot is ok. EDIT1 addendum: You need to have the touchpad kext (VoodoPS2Controller) already installed before you can cold boot from Mavericks (the hardware is not initialized and boot hangs). EDIT 2: Tried to install v3 of "Little Snitch". It recreated all boot cashes, wasn´t able to rescue my Mavericks partition... but I am back again :-) So it´s already a very cool and stable video editing machine (FCPX), just missing sound. BTW.: It was a big help to have the recovery partition available for working with Terminal when things went wrong... If someone has an idea for the red parts it would be really appreciated.
