AlexPunkallo
Hi, i'd like to install Mavericks on my notebook HP G62 following this guide (http://www.insanelym...os-x-mavericks/). My pendrive is ready and inserted, i turn on the PC but the bios doens't identify it (like it wasn't inserted). I tried to install different versions of Chameleon but it doesn't work. Can you help me?

AlexPunkallo
Sorry! Do you think that if i install another bootloader it could work? I am worried that it could change some parameters in the usb
mendietinha
the problem doesn´t seem to be the chameleon. you don´t have an option to choose boot order in bios and or in the initial screen? how old is your machine? btw you should post your specs. AlexPunkallo
Yeah i can choose the boot order and i can also switch the first boot in the initial screen of the bios . The problem is that the bios reads every normal pendrive but when i prepare it for a USB (OS X) installation the boot doesn't find it, the pendrive like disappears. I thought that maybe the bios is not able to read the format of pendrive made in this way for the installation. P.S.In the italian section a guy said that there should be an option in the bios to allow it to read pendrive with a OS installation but i didn't find it. mendietinha
nice hw. should work fine. no bullcrap. the pendrive should be booted normally. of course, disable uefi and secure boot. change it to legacy. i suppose you already did it.
AlexPunkallo
I never considered that things but i don't have uefi and secure boot choise in the boot menu. I searched on internet and it seems that it should be a "secure boot" option in the menu so i updated right now the bios but nothing, no option
