noxdg
I have an 4.2 gig high definition DivX movie and Quicktime with DivX only sees/plays about half of it. I can play the same file in VLC and it sees/plays the entire movie. Is there a file size limitation to Quicktime? It's unfortunate if there is. Quicktime plays HD DivX movies beautifully. noxdg
I figured it out. It's the DivX codec that must have a limit. I stumbled across this thread about the Perian codec: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=28947 Delete DivX add Perian and the entire file is playable!
